Some pics
SGT Trevor Snyder took these and since my family asked for pics, here they are. One is obvious, I'm just working. In the other one I'm playing hacky-sack with a soccer ball. Alright. That's all I've got. Oh, and good news...well you all probably don't care but this IS my blog! My smallpox shot finally healed! If you don't know about smallpox shots (and I didn't before now) they take about 3 weeks to heal. The doc told us it was supposed to turn into a nasty open sore and he was right. It sucked. I took really good care of it and did everything the doc told us to so hopefully even the scar with fade away almost completley. Now that it healed I'm putting Neosporin on it a bunch. That stuff is like magic! Ok, now I'm done. Sorry, I just felt like sharing.

I am such a dork, until today I did not know that we could post comments on here. So I am really dumb and now everyone knows it. Christmas was great, only would have been better if you could have been here too. I love your blogs, you have always been great at writing and really making everyone feel what you are talking about. I love you sweetie!! Awesome that we can still talk though. Smooches!!!!
If you would eat right, sleep more, and drink more water your sore would have healed much quicker!
Sorry to tell you this Stacy, but that nasty small pox scar will be nice and easy to spot for the rest of your life. It'll even tan a different shade just so others will know exactly what it is. It's kinda like your first Iraqi award, we all called it our Iraqi tattoo. It's good to see you're doin good. Come home safe.
Hey Stacy
Just wanted to let you know that I heard your BBC interview on WDET out of Detroit. It was an informative interview and you sounded great. I couldn't wait to get home and check out some of the war blogs, yours being the first I've ever read. Good Job, keep it up.
I have a nephew in Habbinayh and he tries to write as often as he can but it's far too long between e-mails so I look forward to reading your blog and others in order to stay informed. Thank You, all of you, for the sacrifice you are making by being there. Know that we all know that you ARE making a difference. Be safe and GOD BLESS YOU . Travis Z.
